The guardian portal: following each student from a phone

“Did my son attend yesterday’s session?” “What did he get in the exam?” “When is the next session?” Questions like these reach the center’s phone from dozens of parents every day, and take the front desk’s time away from the students standing in front of it.

The student and guardian portal in ECMS Pro answers them before they are asked.

What a guardian sees

After signing in, the guardian picks the student and the “Overview” shows the attendance rate and the next session. Then come the sections the center chooses:

  • Attendance: every session with its status — present, late, excused or absent.
  • Recitation and homework with their marks.
  • Exams and results, only once the teacher has published them.
  • Schedule: the groups, their weekly times and the upcoming sessions.
  • Learning platform: the student’s enrollment in the month’s course, if your center has a learning site on tadreb.live.
  • Dues and receipts: only if the center turns them on; they are off by default.

A guardian with more than one child at the center sees all of them with one number.

Signing in without a password

The guardian enters the mobile number the center has on record and receives a verification code on WhatsApp, or by SMS when the center allows it and WhatsApp cannot deliver. For guardians who do not use WhatsApp, the center sends a login link from the student page, valid for 24 hours and for one use, with a QR code that can be printed. The guardian stays signed in on their phone and can add the portal to the home screen like any app.

Every number sees its own students only

  • Each number sees only the students linked to it, never another student’s data.
  • The portal never shows mobile numbers, national IDs or addresses.
  • When the center corrects a guardian’s number on the student’s record, the old number loses access at once.
  • The center can add an extra mobile number for the mother or the father, or block a number from seeing a particular student.
  • Every guardian reads and accepts the privacy notice at their first sign-in.

The center decides

The portal is off until the center turns it on. The center chooses who signs in (guardians, and older students if it wishes), which sections show, which student statuses are allowed and the daily limit of verification codes. It can switch the portal off at any time, and access stops at once.

How to start

Open “Center settings” → “Student & guardian portal” and follow the guide Turn on the student and guardian portal. Then share the “Portal link” with parents, or show it in your center website’s header. The portal is included in the plan, with no extra fee.
